Priority Pass sees record increase in lounges

July 10, 2008

Priority Pass is delighted to announce that July 2008 sees more lounges added to the program than in any previous month in its 16-year history. A total of 23 lounges have been added this month, including significant new additions in the US and South Korea, and many others throughout the world.

The Priority Pass program has grown every year since launch, and has already firmly established itself as the world’s largest independent airport lounge access program; the latest lounge additions fit with its objective of not only providing its 1.5 million members with the best possible service, but with the largest accessible lounge coverage worldwide.

For those traveling in the US, Priority Pass is pleased to announce the addition of three New Delta Crown Room Club Lounges at New York John F Kennedy Airport as well as the Delta Crown Room Club at Hartsfield Jackson International, Atlanta. Also now available to members is the American Airlines Admirals Club in Honolulu.

Within Latin America and the Caribbean, Priority Pass has added excellent American Airlines Admirals Clubs this month in Santiago (Chile), Bogota (Columbia) and Panama. There’s also a new addition in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic).

Meanwhile, the biggest boost to the program comes in South Korea, where a total of nine additional lounges have been added to the program in Seoul and Busan.

With extra lounges also added in other locations this month, from Turkey and Russia to the Maldives, the Priority Pass program is bigger and better than ever.

Jonathan French, spokesman for Priority Pass commented, “We are thrilled to be able to offer our members such a significant increase in lounges. We continue to work hard towards our objective of making sure that our members can find a peaceful haven to relax or work in, whichever airport they use.”
